Program Description
Course Object
Intensive Chinese program is a carefully orchestrated course provided by College of International Culture(CIC), South China Normal University. Based on highly-intensive training, various extracurricular activities, pure Chinese environment, the course aims to help students make breakthrough progress in Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing in short term. HSK 3 will be reached in one semester and HSK 6 will be reached in two semesters.
Target Group
Students who want to improve their Chinese proficiency in short run.
Teaching features
Small class size(about 15 students per class);
Combination of classroom teaching and extracurricular activities; Exchange with Chinese students; Speech Competition; Chinese Corner and so on.Course hours
There are 18-20 weeks in one semester with 30 class periods per week
Curriculum
Comprehensive Courses: Intensive Chinese, Intensive Practice; Language skills Courses; Listening & Speaking; Reading & Writing; Extensive Courses; HSK Preparation, Business Chinese and so on Tutorial, Q&A.

Morning: 8:40-12:00(Monday to Friday)
Afternoon: 14:30-16:00(Monday to Friday)Certificate and credits
Upon the successful completion, a certificate will be issued by CIC, SCNU.

*1. Certificate/diploma of highest education
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
*2. Academic transcript of highest education
Academic Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Both original and official English translated version are required.
*3. Physical Examination Form(only valid for 6 months)
Please take it to hospital to have a checkup with all items, including personal information, photo, checking date, doctors' suggestion and signature.
*4. Photocopy of valid passport
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included(Photocopy of valid passport identification page. Passport must be an ordinary passport and be valid for at least six months. Applicants currently residing in China must include a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.)
*5. Passport photo
A recent passport-sized photo of the applicant

Provided by your current/previous school/company in Chinese/English to improve your success rate.
